Polyester-type TPU
The most common and widely used TPU; excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance; good heat resistance and chemical resistance; poor hydrolysis resistance, suitable for use in some areas with low requirements for water resistance.
Applications: engineering injection molding, automotive, film, pipe, civilian goods, etc.

Polycarbonate TPU
(PCDL-based TPU); very excellent physical properties; comparable hydrolysis and bacterial resistance to polyether TPU; best thermal stability, chemical resistance, very low gum content.
Application: Suitable for some special products, such as large diameter pipes, oil pipes, soft oil storage tanks, etc.
Aromatic TPU (MDI base)
The most common type, more than 95% of TPU is MDI-based TPU; Very excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance, elasticity, etc.; good thermal stability and chemical resistance; Low cost, poor UV resistance. Applications: Industrial and civilian goods.
Aliphatic TPU (ADI base)
Excellent UV resistance and color stability, never yellowing; moderate mechanical properties; Excellent optical transparency (depending on the type of ADI); Poor elasticity and thermal stability.
Application: Automotive film, glass interlayer, optical components, high UV resistant occasions.
